Summary of aims & objectives:
Glan Yr Afon is a second stage rehabilitation hostel for men and women over the age of eighteen with alcohol-related problems

Services: 

  • We are able to offer support on an individual basis, assist in cooking, budgeting, shopping and all necessary skills needed for independent living. Unfortunately we do not have facilities for people in wheelchairs. Staffed weekdays only, out-of-hours support  from Dyfrig House.

Residents must be eligible to claim Housing Benefit

 

Referrals: 
Referrals from Dyfrig House or other organisations, but the applicant must be in the process of recovering from an alcohol problem and be alcohol free. Also they must be registered with Cardiff City Council.
