Summary of aims & objectives:
Shoreline runs a number of houses that provide safe, secure homes for long term street drinkers. They :

  • Provide high quality supported accommodation
  • Increase the exercise of choice
  • Endeavour to increase the incident of personal choice

Services: 
24 hour assistance is provided within 5 shared houses. Comprehensive advice on alcohol and health is offered and residents decide whether they wish to cut down, control or maintain their drinking. Houses are situated in residential areas and clients encouraged to play a role in the local community. Appropriate agencies eg CDAT will also be involved where necessary

 
Referrals:

Initially through referral form and interview. Allocation in consultation with residents already housed. Anyone can refer. We accept self-referrals
