Summary of aims & objectives:
 
  • To provide safe, temporary accommodation for homeless people
  • To provide appropriate support in response to individual need
  • To assist and/or enable individuals to achieve their aims
  • To provide a comprehensive resettlement service to residents
  • To contribute to strategies for reducing homelessness

Services: 
Sir Julian Hodge Centre is a direct access hostel with 24 hour staffing catering for single homeless people 18+. Each resident will have their own living space and share communal living rooms. The hostel includes laundry facilities, bathrooms and showers. All residents meet regularly with their Project Worker who will offer personal development work, access to appropriate services (drug/alcohol support, mental health etc.) and advice on seeking permanent accommodation.

 
Referrals:
The hostel is direct access. People can call in to the hostel, telephone, be referred by any voluntary or statutory agencies, or self refer.
