Services for Carers in Bridgend and the Western Vale of Glamorgan
Services:
- Home visits and breaks for carers – visiting as far as Boverton, Llantwit & Cowbridge
- Out of hours telephone helpline 5pm-8pm weekdays, and 10am-2.00pm weekends (01772 886963)
- Information & Advice
- Advocacy & Mediation service for carers, providing contact with others by telephone, support in a crisis on an individual and group level
- Carers Support Group – meets first Thursday of the month, 7.00pm-9.00pm in ARC (Assisting Recovery in the Community), Quarella Road, Bridgend
- The Carers Link (Forum) meets bi-monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month at Hafal, Unit 49, Tondu Enterprise Centre, Bryn Road, Tondu, Bridgend
- A Carers Computer Class meets every Thursday from 5 to 7pm at Hafal, see address above
