Summary of aims & objectives:
The Dyn Project is a safety planning and advocacy service for gay, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual men who experience domestic abuse in the Cardiff area. The project is managed by Safer Cardiff
Services:
The Dyn Project can provide a range of services, depending on the situation, including:
- immediate safety measures
- Acces to an direct effective, direct and consistent range of support services
- Joint work with other agencies so you may only need to approach one organisation
- Information on criminal and cilvil options to increase your safety
- Advice on the collection of evidence and prosecution if appropriate. A specialist police officer is based within the unit who can advise on this.
- A forum for men who have experienced domestic abuse to discuss this with others in a similar position.
Referrals:
Referrals can be made directly by an individual, or by any agency or group supporting an individual. Calls to the Project number go directly to the Project Worker.
