Tros Gynnal - The Maze Advocacy Project

Aims and Objectives:

Tros Gynnal is a Welsh charity supporting some of the most vulnerable children and young people in Wales by providing independent advocacy, participation, and family group conferencing services.

The Maze Advocacy Project will provides an independent advocacy service for  
  • The Maze Advocacy Project will provides an independent advocacy service for children and young people in Cardiff who are experiencing mental health difficulties. 
  • The service is open to children and young people aged between 6 and 19 years old who live in the City and County of Cardiff and will offer advocacy, information and support.  Young people may be experiencing a range of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, phobias, self harm, eating disorders, or psychosis.  By working in a creative, rights-based and young person centred way the service will help them to express their views and more actively participate in the decision and discussions about their care and treatment.

- Self referral

-  Referrals can be taken from a third party (e.g. parent, carer, professional, friend) but only with the expressed consent of the individual concerned
