Our ServicesIntroductionThe Project provides a local mental health development service for voluntary sector groups with an interest in mental health, mental health service users and carers. Training and DevelopmentThe Project co-ordinates training and circulates information on the myriad of training courses available locally and nationally. Information SharingInformation is shared through newsletters, mailings and by email, as well as the website which is updated regularly. Network and Working GroupsThe Project supports the development of networks to ensure a voice for their particular members. These can represent interest groups such as the voluntary sector, service users, carers etc. Older People's Carer and Service User Involvement ProjectThere are three Development Workers covering involvement of Older People with Mental Health needs and their Carers in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Working with partners from both statutory and voluntary sector agencies the Development Workers identify and utilise various means to involve Service Users and Carers in developing older people’s mental health services locally. Service User Involvement Development ProjectCardiff and Vale Service User Involvement Development Project - this is managed by the Mental Health Development Project to work with people who use mental health services and the service providers to develop effective ways for user’s views to influence the development and delivery of services Online SurveysThere are currently no surveys online at present |
