Our Services

Introduction

The Project provides a local mental health development service for voluntary sector groups with an interest in mental health, mental health service users and carers.

Training and Development

The Project co-ordinates training and circulates information on the myriad of training courses available locally and nationally.

Information Sharing

Information is shared through newsletters, mailings and by email, as well as the website which is updated regularly.

Network and Working Groups

The Project supports the development of networks to ensure a voice for their particular members. These can represent interest groups such as the voluntary sector, service users, carers etc.

Nexus

There are two Development Workers covering involvement of Older People with Mental Health needs and their Carers in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Working with partners from both statutory and voluntary sector agencies the Development Workers identify and utilise various means to involve Service Users and Carers in developing older people’s mental health services locally.

Sefyll

“Creating positive change in mental health services by involving and utilising the expertise of the people who use them” Sefyll is a project set up to involve people who use mental health services to have a say in the way that those services are run, planned and developed. It’s a chance for service users to come together and have a say about the services they use.

Online Surveys

There are currently no surveys online at present
